Here are the attendees of the reunion dinner.

Potentially, we could have had 90 there had everyone been able to come!  It was great getting just over 50, considering the distances family traveled to participate!

What a week end!

We could hardly have ordered up better weather for our events this past week end!  Thank you to all the Thunder Bay host families for your kind hospitality.  Thank you, all family who traveled to attend.  Thanks, too, to family unable to attend but participated with pictures and information to share.
We are still updating the family tree database for distribution and compiling contact information to share.  The pictures taken by the photographer will be burned to CDs and will be mailed out as soon as we receive them.  Perhaps we can create a web album (likely in Picasa) for sharing photos from the event.  Stay tuned...

Picnic Plans - update!

Our Saturday afternoon activities will take place at Birch Point Picnic Area, not the Rita Street location as previously advertised.  See map below.

Our meet and greet on Friday will be at Waverley Park Towers. Thanks Bud and Gen!  Everyone please bring light snacks to share and beverages of your choice.

Sat Aug 13, 5:30 TBA:  symposium and pictures; 7 pm dinner catered by White Fox Inn 

Sun Aug 14, 1 pm Oksanen’s on Oliver Lake; BYOE (Everything) BBQ

Members of the committee (Thunder Bay branch) have committed financially to the Hazelwood Conservation Area to reserve the facility and picnic area for the Saturday activities and dinner.   Hope you have your vacation days booked...
